A gas safety check is designed to inspect any gas appliances in a property, including boilers, cookers and fires to ensure they are working safely and efficiently. Typical checks include:

Checking the installation is safe and suitable for the location. 

Making sure an appliance is operating at the correct pressure 

 Ensuring there is an adequate air supply to the appliance and that it is burning gas correctly Checking that flues and chimneys are clear and able to emit fumes and gases from the appliance safely outside. Testing all safety devices on an appliance to make sure they're working correctly
